*** 2012 BEGINNERS' NIGHTS ***
Are you looking for a new way to keep fit and meet new friends? Blackhorse & Standard welcome new dancers at any time of the year, but in January/February we hold a couple of beginners' nights which are specially designed to give you a chance to try out Morris dancing.
Our next beginners' nights are on Wednesdays 25th Jan and 1st Feb 2012 (8pm-10pm), at St Gabriel's Family Centre, Havant Road, Wood Street, Walthamstow.
We'll be teaching some basic steps, and you'll have the chance to learn a complete Morris dance.
No experience needed. Open to women of any age (18+).
30th anniversary Day of Dance
On 21st May 2011 we were joined in London by Alive & Kicking, Boghoppers & Bushbeaters, and Hawksword, to celebrate our 30th anniversary with a day of dancing. We started at Covent Garden, crossed the river to the National Theatre, then finished off the day at Tower Hill. Here we all are in front of the Tower of London...
