Events

We practice most Wednesday evenings during term time (see contact us page for more details).

In addition we dance out frequently, especially during the summer months. The venues range from central London locations such as the Guildhall and the HMS Belfast on the Thames to special days out in other towns such as Rochester in Kent and Malden in Essex. We also dance out locally at places such as pubs, shopping centres, local clubs and societies, churches and day centres.

Details of events are sometimes arranged and changed at short notice so it is advisable to check before you travel to an event. For contact details to check or book events see the contact us page.

Friday 29th April 2011	Afternoon	Private event	We have been asked to dance at a local street party in celebration of the royal wedding.
Sunday 1st May 2011	All day	Various spots around Rochester town centre.	We will be dancing at the annual Rochester Sweeps Festival in Rochester, Kent. This is a fun event with the old town pedestrianised and filled with Morris dancers and folk music.
Saturday 21st May 2011	11am-4.30pm	Covent Garden, National Theatre and Tower Hill.	We will be joined by some Morris friends for a day of dancing at locations in central London, in commemoration of our 30th anniversary. 11.20am-12pm: Covent Garden 1pm - 2pm: outside the National Theatre (South Bank) 3.30pm - 4.30pm: Tower Hill (next to the Tower of London)
Saturday 16th July 2011	Afternoon	St John's church, Leytonstone	We will once again be dancing as part of the annual Leytonstone Festival.
Sunday 17th July 2011	Afternoon	Private event	Private event for a local care home for the elderly.
Saturday 24th September 2011	Afternoon	Private event	Fundraising garden party in Wanstead.
Saturday 1st October 2011	Afternoon	Private event	Private performance for a care home in Waltham Abbey.
